“This is the second time staying at this RV park. We came last year as well. This is a great location and very clean. The Jolly Trolley stops right across the street and is a great way to go from Clearwater to Tarpon Springs. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back.”

“This place is so well cared for. The folks that work here are on top of things and address anything that comes up immediately. It is clean, quiet and in a perfect location. I’ve been here over a month already and am so grateful we found this place to hang in while our house was being sold back north. Don’t hesitate to come here and stay a while.”

“We just spent 2 weeks at this park. We loved our time here!! The sites are well kept and we had no problems at all when we were there. The office staff was just lovely, friendly, and easy to work with! We felt safe and everything that we had at our site was also safe. We never heard a peep from any of our neighbors, and the ones we encountered were all very friendly. I would say that probably 80% or more are full timers. Mostly retired residents with a few younger. If you’re looking for a “resort” feel isn’t it. But if you’re looking for a safe, lovely park, you should look no further. We were fortunate enough to get a spot on the lake and it offered a lovely view and plenty of wildlife to enjoy.

I should also mention that’s it’s literally right at the Pinellas bike trail! We spent almost every evening riding our bikes to many local fantastic eateries, breweries. Honeymoon Island State Park is also 5 mins away, and an incredible bike ride if I might add.
Sherwood Forest is more like a neighborhood community than a travel park where you stay en route to some other place. Summer sees many Floridians while they remodel their local residences or just want to get away to the beach, and people moving into the area who want to take their time finding a permanent residence. Winter sees many snow birds, but several people live year round as well. Lots of activities sponsored by the guests in the winter but quiet in the summer.
